We will have a yellow and chocolate litter in early Spring of 2008.
RoyaLab Retrievers, II belongs to
Dave & Marty Schilling. We have been raising quality, wonderfully
tempered labrador retrievers for over twelve years. Our labs are
primarily bred for low-key temperament, intelligence and beauty. We are
very focused on the good health of our bitches and studs and
conscientiously screen for genetic problems relating to hip displaysia (OFA),
eye diseases (CERF) and sound hearts. We believe in following closely
with the AKC Labrador Retriever Breed Standard and are charter members
of the Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Club. Our puppies are generally sold
as family pets, but many have the qualifications to be show, obedience
and therapy dogs. They are raised entirely in our home surrounded by
ourselves, our four children and our other dogs. Marty has been a dog
obedience trainer at Canine University (see "training" link) for the
past 10 years. The philosophy at Canine U. is one of positive
reinforcement which is started from the very beginning with Royalab
puppies in the way that we raise our puppies. Whistle training and
housebreaking are well on their way to being established by the time you
take your puppy home. Further obedience training by the new owner is
strongly encouraged.
