Dog's Name: Brownie
We are VERY happy with our pup! He has the best temperament we've ever seen
and is simply a beautiful, loving, gentle animal. There could not possibly
be a better match for our two small children. We were very pleased with Royalab
and HIGHLY recommend them. Our "Brownie" is most certainly a result
of wonderful breeding and a loving, stable beginning with Malley and the Schillings!

Dog's Name: Dilsey
When we decided to get a puppy, I was contacted by accident by a good friend who told us about Marty Schilling and her wonderful litter of approaching puppies. We had never had a dog, and we were in need of one as a way to deal with some tragic and untimely family deaths.
Dilsey was born on June 5th 2000. Marty allowed my husband and I to come and visit the newly born litter after 4 days. We arrived at her house and found the puppies neatly connected to their mother, Malley, as well as being loved by two of her other warm and loving pals.
We filled out our “adoption” papers and prayed that we would become proud parents of one of Malley’s babies. After being able to visit the puppies weekly, (holding, talking to, and watching Marty train them away from their mother,) we brought Dilsey home to her new home on July 22, 2000.
Needless to say, our knowledge of what to do was limited by our unfamiliar and nervous new parenting skills. Dilsey needed nurishing, schooling, and above all, unqualified love. Marty made herself available to us to teach us how to handle this new puppy, but most of all, she gave us the confidence to try things in ways that made for good housebreaking and strong behavior skills. She gave us literature to read, she told us where to go for puppy kindergarten, and she gave us the courage to give all that we could to this adorable puppy.
Dilsey has been a gentle and calm dog from the beginning. She is smart, savy and full of interest and love to give. She is beauifully built, which is evidenced by anyone who gets to come to meet her either in a park or at our home. She never frets, she was easily housebroken, and she even rings the bells by our back door when she wants to go out! She sleeps alongside of us, and never lets us down. We are able to take Dilsey to swim at the river, run through the metroparks and she is a full participant in a puppy playgroup where she socializes with 4 other dogs. She is the most well mannered and best behaved! She never begs for food (that is because Marty taught us how to let her know when it was HER time to eat by saying “Take it in a high voice), and she has never bitten or ruined too much in the house.
